You are invited to attend two new workshops being offered during Week 9 of this Fall quarter. These workshops will introduce you to advanced Canvas features that can enhance your teaching. Both workshops will be held in the back of the TechBar, on the first floor of the Regenstein Library (JRL 160). There is no cost to attend either workshop.
Using Multimedia for Instruction and Creative Assignments: Multimedia can be a powerful medium for creating instructional content and creative assignments. In this workshop, you will learn how multimedia can help increase student engagement. You will be introduced to different forms of multimedia assignments, and learn how to make your multimedia use successful. Providing Effective Assessment and Feedback in Canvas: This workshop will help you to grade student work quickly and efficiently, using built-in Canvas tools such as Rubrics and SpeedGrader. You will also be introduced to Canvas’ New Gradebook, which is now available to faculty and instructors. This workshop will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
